Bug Description

Binary package hint: gedit

When viewing a text file with very long line lengths, gedit will wrap over the beginning of the line displaying gibberish. I've noticed this on printouts as well. Screenshot attached.

I think the problem is GTK because other gnome text editors have the same problem.
KDE text editors like Kwrite in Ubuntu 9.10 are OK.
