Bug Description
Binary package hint: checkgmail
Checkgmail does not work currently in Karmic. It gives an authorization error and continually prompts the user for a password.
Running "checkgmail -update" grabs the latest SVN and installs it, solving the problem, so Karmic needs to package one of these snapshots.
The problem is discussed on the forums at http://
and is referenced on the CheckGmail homepage: http://

I can confirm this, I've just tried it on my system and also get the authorisation failure.
