Bug Description

Hi

I have upgraded to Dapper by reinstalling Ubuntu on my / partition and keeping my users home directory from Breezy on my /home partition.

When trying to play mpegs in Xfmedia there is no sound. Sound seems to work OK otherwise.

What kind of mpegs do you want to play? Try to install libxine-extracodecs from multiverse, that is what you'll need to play e.g. mp3 audio using libmad. It's a new package in dapper, old libxine1c2-package has been splitten off into 2 packages. libxine1-main does not contain anymore everything due to licensing-issues.

Can you please post a comment if installing the package mentioned above resolved the issue? If so, the bug can be closed (because in that case it is no bug).
