Bug Description
Upon changing resolution and restarting, booting Ubuntu gives me two unexpected results: The Ubuntu logo renders in a manner similar to videotaping a CRT screen, and this error message: "vga=769 is deprecated. Use set gfxpayload=

the work around is to manually set the resolution in /etc/default/grub:
change line: GRUB_CMDLINE_ LINUX=" vga=769" to the appropriate setting
