gadu gadu cannot import contacts

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

Are there any news about this bug? Has someone affected by this bug sent the report upstream? May you tell us the bug number? Thanks in advance.

I found this bug at bugzilla which suggests that it was a problem with libpurple(it was a few months ago) so it would be really helpful if someone who uses gadugadu can test this under lucid(as lucid most probably have a later version of libpurple)

Sorry but i'm not using empathy any more. Empahty wasn't telling
anything about contact list on gg server. That's all i really know.
I'd tried to add my online friend to list and empathy didn't show its
real status.

There is just no such option as importing contact list. To be honest empathy doesn't support Gadu-Gadu users. Perhaps the program enables using gg protocol but Empathy's interface is unable to make a use from it. Just try to compare Empathy and Kadu.
