The gnome-panel main menu take so much time to open

Ok.

I am not speak English very well.

1. Ubuntu 9.10 desktop edition, not UNR.

2. Yes, the problem only happen when the pc start, the first click in the gnome main-menu (the icon of ubuntu, not the menu "application, places, system") the menu take time to load.

I hope the next versions of Ubuntu can run without problems like this, in netbooks, because don't like me the UNR and i think Ubuntu "normal edition" must be work in everyone pc (Desktop, Nettop, Netbook, Notebook).

And the bug #12040 is the same problem, but i'm not sure because i don't know english.
