pavucontrol does not correctly list input devices

Binary package hint: pavucontrol

pavucontrol only lists Microphone 1 and Microphone 2 (which are shown in alsamixer) but does not list Digital (which is the webcam mic). All three choices show up in alsamixer and I can manually change it in alsamixer.. but it would be nice for pavucontrol to have this option on the list so I don't have to manually run alsamixer everytime my system reboots.
