Docklet settings User Interface Glitch

Bug Description

Version: 0.8.3.1

When in the settings dialogue for gnome-do, browse to the "Appearance tab" and in the "Docklets" section use either the scroll wheel on the mouse or the slider to scroll through the different Docklets available. This produces the strange graphical glitch that you can see in the screenshot attached to this bug.

This occurred on a computer which is using the proprietary Nvidia driver - but I have also been able to reproduce it on a friends computer which has an ATI graphics card - which leads me to believe that this is a problem with gnome-do and not with the graphics drivers.

Please let me know if I can provide any more information to help fix this bug.

I experience the same problem, I was about to file a bug report for this myself.

The bug is reproduced folllowing the same steps as above.

I have the following display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03)
, so this may well indeed be a problem with Gnome-Do itself...

It appears that the issue is caused by a color depth issue.
For me, when running gnome-do from the console I get:
"Gdk-WARNING **: Attempt to draw a drawable with depth 24 to a drawable with depth 32"
Using xwininfo, I can verify that the preferences dialog is the only window on my desktop thats running in depth of 24 (even the dock is running in depth 32).
