Bug Description

Some artists seem to sometimes come up multiple times in the collections pane and others are organised into the wrong letter category. If you look at the screen shot Goo Goo Dolls and Maximo Park come up multiple times with the same albums under each, Imogen Heap appears twice once under "I" and once under "H", Josh Doyle is sorted under "D" and "J" and Avril Lavigne is only sorted under "L" but not "A".

I tried deleting the music database and scanning my music folder again but the same errors come up. This has only happened since I installed 0.3.1beta.

That's weird. AFAIK we're not supposed to have "family name" sorting, which would fail on so many cases.

Ah, it was a bug in how we handled *sort tags. Should be fixed in trunk/2881.

Most entries are fixed in 0.3.1 but a few errors still show up:
- Josh Doyle still shows up in D and J
- Avril Lavigne still shows up in L but not A
- Eels shows up in E and M (this one confuses me).
