Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork

When using the mouse to resize a window, the limited area apparently allocated to the resize edge detect can delay users because they have to "wiggle" the mouse at the corner to invoke the resize cursor. I'm using the Elementary theme as a yardstick as the change in sensitivity was immediately noticeable when I switched to Ambiance.

I'd basically like to see a larger area made available for the resize function in the default themes.

affects: ubuntu-artwork (Ubuntu) → light-themes (Ubuntu)

I agree it's really cumbersome to change the window size. The area where the mouse pointer changes such that you can resize the window is way too small

What also would be nice is that at the bottom right you have a kind of small triangle where the resizing gets active

Thanks Chris, seems like there is a lot of confirmations and commits. Look forward to the new theme release.

Is this going to be fixed in Lucid. It's a major usability flaw if you ask me if you can't resize windows easily
