I'm surprised there's no apport hook for update-manager... also, I thought we used to have a special installer hook for these things.

The bug is a trigger failure in initramfs-tools

Processing triggers for initramfs-tools ...
 update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-27-generic
