Bug Description

After toggeling profiling (on-off-on), it does no longer work.
The notification area is no longer displayed.

Can't reproduce this on the browse page of a table. Please provide more information.

Just tried it on my second machine, same problem here.
1) Open a Browse-View of any table
2) Enable profiling
3) Click execute => No profiling overlay is shown.

Please try again with the current trunk version. I think this is related to #543507.
