Touchpad buttons not working properly on HP mini netbook

Expected result: Left and right click areas of the touchpad register as the left and right buttons respectively.

Actual result: It doesn't register the left and right clicks properly, likely because they are directly integrated to the touchpad proper.

This bug might be a duplicate of bug #477922, but I was unable to add my report to the bug via apport-bug.
