Bug Description
I submitted this as a bug back in beta 1. It was then marked as a duplicate as a similar (but slightly different) bug, and then it was closed. However, in the RC, it still doesn't work. Again, the driver seems to exist, but there is one slight problem with the auto-configure error. Here is what need's to be fixed:

This is already fixed upstream (http:// git.kernel. org/?p= linux/kernel/ git/tiwai/ sound-2. 6.git;a= commitdiff; h=ff818c24c2af3 70153646d302d83 1b69b023816f). It won't ship in Lucid final, but you can use linux-alsa- driver- modules- $(uname -r) from ppa:ubuntu- audio-dev.
