Storage Devices list is empty and Places on gnome desktop

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility

Disk utility 2.30.1 Shows no devices on mi PC
Also, no devices on "Gnome Desktop->Places" nor in "Nautilus computer" folder

It happens from a fresh installation and from a upgraded 9.10. In 9.10 It shows all the computer devices perfectly.

gnome-disk-utility:
  Installed: 2.30.1-1

Maybe is a daemon for controlling the hardware but i cannot find wich one is.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Yes, its fixed, for six months used ArchLinux :-(
Now Im back to ubuntu and everything is working again.
Can close it.
