Bug Description
Release: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
In notification area, some application icons are showing a white background. I am facing this problem with Banshee, VLC and Skype. For the ease of understand I've attached a screenshot of my notification area. As the Radiance theme using a light background, it'll take some times to realize that some of the icons are not using a transparent background. This bug also affects the Dust, Dust Sand and New Wave themes.
I am using the following versions of affected applications:
Banshee 1.6.0
VLC 1.0.6 Goldeneye
Skype 2.1 (Beta) for Linux

I tried to reproduce your problem, but I couldn't. For me, on all themes the launcher icons get the right background.
