Inconsistent spelling of right(-)click and left(-)click

I agree. Should we use "right-click" or "right click". Also should we use Primary and Secondary click as some people are left handed.

I would prefer "right-click". But I think my opinion should not be the decisive factor, because I'm not a native speaker. Primary/Secondary click could be mentioned in the preamble (like: in this book primary click = left click ...) but not in the main text, because it could be to confusing for the beginners.

I have done a little bit of searching on the correct way to write this.

The only option that specifically mentions this is the Cambridge advanced learners dictionary.

In this case there is no hyphen.

So, they have it written as "right click".

It should be right-click (with a hyphen). Aside from it being my personal opinion (which makes it by definition the correct way to do things ;-)), it is consistent with the GNOME documentation guidelines:
