The Power statistics window always shows that time to full or time to empty is 0 seconds whether the laptop is charging, or running on battery.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.

yes, this bug does still seem to be present, clicking on the battery button always give the option Laptop battery (estimating...) and when I click on this the Time to Full and Time to Empty are still always 0 seconds.

this has affected me since maverick (fresh install) and continues in natty alpha, and now beta

attached picture shows time to empty, but time to full also has no samples

i suspect since upower does not provide this information; it hasn't been updated to generate it from the other data sources when it replaced devicekit-power
