[wishlist] option to remove square around icons

Bug Description

Squared icon themes like Faenza will look bad in Unity launcher with second square around icons. Please add to Unity launcher option to turn off this square around every icon. Maybe you could hilight running app the same way like Docky hilights active window icon and entirely drop those blocky blocks..

I guess it's a matter of opinion, because I think Faenza icons look very good in the launcher.

Square around icons make icons harder to recognize. That's because the icon shape does not contrast enough against the square background which is nearly of the same color.
