Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

It would be really cool if nautilus had the miller-columns view. there is an example screenshot from Dolphin attached to this bug report.

Patches to implement this feature are always welcome. I have found the upstream bug report here https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96239 and please dont report such dramatic bug reports :p

with all due respect, i know the rules for reasonable bug reports and always follow them BUT this thing with the miller-column-view is reported by countless users on countless forums and in many bug reports and until now, EIGHT YEARS after the first report here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96239 NO ONE of the nautilus team has given a comment or a reason WHY it can't be implemented in nautilus but IS in other file-browsers.

it just encourages me to not know what is the reason for the missing of this view mode in nautilus!

Are there any plans to add this feature in the future? I am keeping dolphin installed on Ubuntu Natty ony for this reason! I am normally using nautilus but from time to time I need to start dolphin just because it has miller columns - and nautilus doesn't. In my opinion it is one of the most useful features a file manager could have!
