Bug Description

These translation uploads are not being auto-approved:

https://translations.launchpad.net/scilab/trunk/+imports

At the moment all translations in that queue are incorrectly named, but the latest ones look like they should be approved: they're in the same directories as their templates, and even though most language codes aren't quite right ("it_IT," "ca_ES" etc.) the owners have set up custom language codes to deal with these.

I see nothing relevant in the log.

Hello

No pressure but is there an ETA here ? Since all our localization is based on launchpad, this is blocking our process.

thanks anyway for the great product.

I'm not sure what happened, but of the files with the current naming scheme only the it_IT ones still need to be imported. And there's no custom language code set up to say that it_IT really means "it."

So creating that one more custom language code may fix it!

I added it. Let's see how it goes!

I see a bunch of imported it_IT.po files. Looks like that solved it!

Unless you happen to know that someone approved them manually, that means we can close this bug.

Looks like OK for it_IT. Could you purge the import queue and try to reimport the localized files ?
There are 743 files which need review :/

We have no easier way to delete entries than the same UI you would use, unfortunately: mark each entry as Deleted. It will be cleaned up 3 days later. To help you along with this, I already did this for the first 250 or so entries.

I'm not sure what you mean with "try to reimport the localized files." But now that you got things working, I hope it won't be too hard to import them again. If you mean that you want to re-import the files from your bzr branch, you can request a one-time import on the branch synchronization configuration page. That won't affect your settings, but should do a full import of what's currently in the branch.

Thanks for closing the 250 first ;) I just did the rest and pushed some updates on the localization templates and files to be sure it is now working.

Thanks again
