Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-notifier

I was using natty beta 2 when I notice a slow down and obv using top that update-apt-xapi is taking up 100% of cpu.
Search through the web and release that it could be the update-manager.

I was not using update manger or Synaptic at that time. Should'nt the update-manager get update quietly behind the scene?
