Translators have question marks in names

Click Help -> About -> Credits -> Translated By

When I scroll through the list, I see a lot of question marks (?) in the names. Presumably these are meant to be accented characters.

This happens on 11.04 and 11.10 alpha.

Same thing was happening already on previous versions see Bug #677332.
Overall Banshee has a hard time with accents, will not import files with accents, will not display them correctly or give erroneous search results too....
