Boards running out of space with ubuntu-desktop image

Bug Description

It seems the ubuntu-desktop image has grown a bit, and whenever a test runs that uses the ubuntu-desktop image, the testrootfs partition runs out of space. http://validation.linaro.org/jenkins/job/Lava%20Daily%20Panda01/imagetype=ubuntu-desktop,target=panda03%20panda/50/console is an example of this. So we need to take a second look at how much space is needed for ubuntu-desktop and grow the testrootfs partition to accommodate it, and still leave plenty of extra. Certainly this will be easier if we have plenty of 16 GB cards, but failing that, we might be able to shave a bit of space still off of the master root partition, since it seems to have plenty of space left over.

hmm, I think this is worse than I originally thought. I was looking at http://validation.linaro.org/jenkins/job/Lava%20Daily%20Beaglexm01/imagetype=ubuntu-desktop,target=beaglexm03%20omap3/50/console and noticed that it seems to be much earlier that it's failing - during linaro-media-create instead! So I think the size of the image exceeds 2GB default for the image size, and it's dying. Also, when it dies, it fails to deallocate the loopback device. After 7 loopback devices are allocated and held, we're out, and nothing can succeed.

Leaving this open for now... it *could* still be that our testrootfs partitions are too small also.

I've got some 16GB SDHC cards here - still no micro SD cards but they are on order - probably best to create a nice large testrootfs, say about 8GB.

Yes. Basically I've re-deployed with 16GB SD cards and 8GB of space for roots, so this should probably be closed.
