Bug Description

in Precise, the pointer stops working shortly after login (before being able to launch anything in unity-2d). Pointer on console (with gpm) still works fine.

FWIW my notebook has both a trackpad and a pointing stick, both with their own buttons. The trackpad and buttons stops working, but the pointing stick and its buttons continue to work.

Disabling “Disable touchpad while typing” in gnome-control-center makes this go away. So not a display bug, but yes a gnome bug.

affects: xorg (Ubuntu) → gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
