I need design input on this one, is transparency OK or not? By default, as an option?

I don't really feel like there's a need to introduce options into such a simple app. So whatever we do, we should just do it and make it good.

But if we do opt for some kind of transparency affect, it should be real compositing alpha and not the fake screenshot-of-the-wallpaper crap.

i think adding an options dialog is a great idea for pantheon terminal.

we can include
 *default size
 *transparency
 *Command to exec on launch
 *Title on launch

The transparency makes the text difficult to read over some backgrounds. Please make it optional!

You can disable it from dconf-editor. It is optional.
