Bug Description

Running GDB against tests/misc/hello-cc.elf gives:

"Reading symbols from /home/michaelh/linaro/binary/linaro/contrib/linaro/tests/misc/hello-cc.elf...I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that. Symbol format `elf32-littlearm' unknown."

Also fails on a local LSB build on x86_64. A native build is fine.

Seems that BFD has no ELF support. It lists coff, ecoff, and aout but no ELF.

Problem was due to libintl causing the libbfd configure test to fail.
