Evergreen version: 2.x
Linux distribution: Ubuntu Lucid 10.04

"Also, I made a change to the packages installed on Ubuntu Lucid. RPC::XML::Function needs to be installed in order for the XML-RPC gateway to work."
That particular fix to install RPC::XML::Function never made its way back to either 2.x series of Evergreen. Instead, the Makefile.install is still trying to install XML::RPC (typo, backwards?). As of the filing of this bug, using CPAN to install RPC::XML on its own causes problems as well. So we need to make the alteration to both 2.x series' Makefiles to install RPC::XML::Function to avoid future problems.
