Bug Description

Playback is fine in Totem, banshee, Rhythmbox etc.

Playback uses my internal Notbook speakers when using Firefox or Chromium, regardless whether it's flash or HTML5 native playback

I want all playback to happen through the usb interface as I have chose in sound preferences

I found a workaround from ubuntu-devel mailing list:

create /etc/asound.conf:

pcm.pulse {
     type pulse
}

ctl.pulse {
     type pulse
}

pcm.!default {
     type pulse
}

ctl.!default {
     type pulse
}

Then restart the browser.
