Bug Description

unity 5.8.0-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu Pangolin

1. Switch to a guest session, and open the dash.
2. Search for "terminal", or "firefox", or "solitaire", or anything you have installed.
3. Switch to the Applications lens.
4. Try the same search again.

What you see:
1. An empty purple box.
2. "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search."
3. An empty purple box.
4. An empty purple box.

What you should see:
1. Something useful.
2. The application matching your search.
3. A list of applications installed.
4. The application matching your search.

Thanks Matthew, do you still have the issue? Since you reported the bug the dash got improved to have some applications prefiled and some bugs got fixed as well
