wireless-tools has wrong md5sums

Bug Description

wireless-tools appears to be split into multiple binary packages. The wireless-tools binary package symlinks its changelog.Debian.gz to the copy in the libiw30 binary package, and lists the wrong md5sum in its md5sums file ( the other package has the correct sum ).

What md5sums exactly?

wireless-tools.md5sums doesn't list a changelog.Debian.gz.

Changed in wireless-tools (Ubuntu):

Sure it does:

To debug this we'd really need both md5sums, the exact version of wireless-tools installed, etc.

In Precise, I definitely can't reproduce this here; wireless-tools 30~pre9-5ubuntu2 does *not* contain a md5sum for changelog.Debian.gz, either in the file in a newly-downloaded copy of the deb, or in the extracted file in /var/lib/dpkg/info/wireless-tools.md5sums.

/var/lib/dpkg/info/libiw30.md5sums does contain an md5sum for changelog.Debian.gz, as:
7cd1a8b643fa5b7d647422fff2e7c226 usr/share/doc/libiw30/changelog.Debian.gz

Looks like this was fixed in precise:

wireless-tools (30~pre9-5ubuntu2) precise; urgency=low

  * No-change rebuild against current pkgbinarymangler to fix broken
    md5sums. (see LP #875466)
