Bug Description
debupstream-base should strip the dfsg suffix. launchpad doesn't run any custom scripts to strip out dfsg-nonfree data, and it's impossible to mangle the upstream version in such a way that the vcs info can be added to it later.
As a workaround, the user can manually add the +dfsg string.
