Bug Description

This is not exactly a bug but a suggesstion....there should be feature to make the menu transparent....that will give it a real nice look....if u can enable rgba transparency that would be great....otherwise simple transparency will do...

I plan on making Cardapio more gtkrc friendly, so you can skin it however you like :)

Great idea! I had no luck with the new experimental theme PPA with RGBA support, but you may want to try it out: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopTeam/RgbaGtkWithPPA/

im using rgba module and ONLY buttons are using the rgba not the background it self

on my setting notebooks (tabs) are rgba disabled

That's odd. I have no experience with RGBA, so can you tell me what I need to install to reproduce that?

Also, does that happen with every RGBA-enabled theme?

Oh, and in reply to comment #1: since v0.9.112, Cardapio is gtkrc-friendly! So that part of this bug report is already fixed :)

As you see in the attached screenshot: buttons, edges, scrollbars and the search field are transparent. I am not even sure if that is incorrect, regarding Nautilus’ behavior (content area and sidebar content are not transparent).
