Bug Description

This setting creates problem for heavy keyboard users. For example, your in a browser window and now you need to open some other window just to look for something. In such case the new window does not grab focus immediately, and if you press alt-F4 it closed the window in the background because that window still has the focus.

Another problem is global-menu/app-menu does not appear immediately for the new window. User has to click it in order to get the appmenu for new window.

As Compiz is not part of the default Ubuntu installation, it can not be addressed as part of the paper cuts project.

I changed the project to Compiz. Please always report a bug against a project before reporting it against the paper cuts project. Thanks. :)

This will greatly reduce the number of mistakes I make while using keyboard shortcuts. This is especially irritating when I end up replying to an email in Thunderbird instead of reaching the location bar in Firefox/Chrome and closing a window I didn't mean to close.
