Bug Description

Windows minimized by the minimize button in the window controls are shown in the Scale window picker (*), windows minimized by the "show desktop" function aren't shown in the Scale window picker.

This is confusing.

So please also take account of windows minimized by the "show desktop" function and show them in the scale window selector, too.

(*)
in german: "Fensterauswahl initiieren" - don't know what it's called in english as I can't choose the language in the lgin screen anymore. :-(

I'm using up to date 11.10 with Unity 5.0.0~+bzr1825ubuntu0+611

Hi! It appears this has been fixed in Ubuntu 12.04. I have tested it on both 11.10 and 12.04 and it works find on my 12.04 machine. Please reopen the bug if you test on an up-to-date installation of 12.04 and it still doesn't work. For now, though, I'm going to close this bug report as fixed.

Thanks for the report!

Hi,

I have the exact same bug in Ubuntu 12.04 on 3 different installations.
So for me it does not seem to be fixed.

It is not fixed, but TBH I like the showdesktop-scale behaviour even better... ;)
Ideally it should be configurable ofc.
I'll try to take a look at that, but do not expect this to happen soonish...
