Bug Description

I think that you should either have your own indicator or sound menu support.

Can you explain what's the difference exactly with the current StatusIcon module?

Changed in decibel-audio-player:
assignee: nobody → François Ingelrest (athropos)
status: New → Incomplete

IMO a music player should only support the Sound Menu, not have its own indicator on Ubuntu.

FYI Francois, the status icon does not work on newer Ubuntu versions as the system tray has been removed. Most apps should use libindicate now, but a sound player should use the Sound Menu (https://github.com/sunng87/Exaile-Soundmenu-Indicator, http://theravingrick.blogspot.com/2011/02/easily-support-sound-menu-in-python.html).
