I think it is fixed now, but it needs to be tested by someone with multiple screens.

According to the HIG it should not be hidden. It should just become insensitive.

I dunno, I think in this situation we face an exception to the rule. The point of having widgets becomes insensitive is to show users that something can be enable, but they haven't met the requisites for it to be used. In this case, we're looking at a hardware requirement which means the option will never be useful for people with only a single display and showing that it can be enabled isn't really helpful. So here, I would say that it's better to just hide it (when there is only one display) and simplify the interface
