cannot install Brother HL-2280DW printer driver

Bug Description
It searches for drivers, gives me the Additional Drivers window with the suggestion of
"Top Quality Printer Drives for inkjets, dye sublimation printers, and PCL lasers (version 5.0.1)
Not tested by the elementaryOS developers

I push Activate, it claims to be "Downloading and Installing Driver", and then I get the message
"Sorry, installation of this driver failed. Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/
The file is attached.
