Bug Description

Much to my surprise, there's some code in indicator-session that attempts to determine what graphical interface to use, allowing for Zenity if Unity is unavailable. Unfortunately it always tries to use Unity anyway, and so none of indicator-session's functions work. Here's a patch that just comments out the broken Unity dialog conditional; leaving most of the Unity code dormant.

The Zenity dialogs might not be as pretty, but they work everywhere.

Filed bug 1355433 for "Lock", which is a somewhat different problem.

The same solution was already in an older repository!

This branch forked at r417, but the problem with the Unity dialog hasn't changed up to r441(os-patch-indicator-session-trusty) or beyond.

So these days we're calling a dialog that I believe is owned by either gala or wingpanel (can't remember which). I'm not sure if this solves the portability problem, so I'm going to mark as incomplete for now.

Please mark it back as confirmed and target to Loki beta1 if it remains an issue
