-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: starting kde with kwin effects
activated, after installing the Intel EMGD drivers for the poulsbo chipser.

- Unusual behavior I noticed: kwin crashed. Afterwards, screen efects are
disabled due to technical reasons.

- Custom settings of the application: none

The crash can be reproduced every time.

and closed as "driver bug"

maybe something could be done to fix it :)

Thanks Luca, I was going to report it also here, but you beat me to it! :)
I can provide more logs if needed, but I don't know how we can fix this without the EMGD drivers source.

yes.. it is pretty impossible without source! :)
(would you report also the underclock issue you get? opened too many bugs today :) )

Using EMGD 1.10 and kwin 4.7 (but only the GLES version from kde-window-manager-gles) this problem is fixed.

I get about 10 fps on a 1920x1080 screen which is to slow to really use (fitpc connected to TV).

On netbook resolutions it might be fast enough, I didn't test.
