Tested in 2.7 and in master
The "Load patron from Checkout" OU setting does not appear to work in either the xul or web client. I tested this setting on systems where there were active barcode completion configurations and set the "Load patron from checkout" setting to true for the entire consortium.
At checkout, I enter a user barcode that matches the prefix and length configured for the workstation OU. I receive a message saying the barcode cannot be found.
Expected behavior is for the system to automatically load in the patron registration screen. |

The "Load patron from Checkout" OU setting is not honored in the web client. When scanning a user barcode at checkout, the system does not load the patron record. Instead, it treats the barcode as a misscan and prompts for a precat record. |
