Bug Description
EG 3.1 with web client
On XUL client, deleted copies on Items Out screen can be checked in. This was used to close circs linked to copies that have been deleted already.
The function should be available on the Web Client, since deleting checkout/lost items are allowed. There should be a way of closing the linked open circ.
Now attempting to check in a deleted item on Items Out results in an error: Copy “xxxxxxx(barcode)” was mis-scanned or is not cataloged.

When I try to check deleted items in via the XUL client, I get the same "mis-scanned" alert message that appears in the web client - is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?
