There's not currently a way to upload a batch of Bib IDs to a record bucket in the web client. When working with a report output of bib IDs currently, we have to pull up each bib individually either in the pending tab of the bucket interface or the catalog to add them to a bucket.
Comparatively, you can still use Item Status to batch upload copies to a Copy Bucket, and User Buckets has an incorporated import option.
We would find it very helpful to have a batchloader similar to the one in User Buckets available appear in the other bucket interfaces. Item Status has served as the batchloader for both Record and Copy Buckets in the staff client, but since you MUST have item barcodes (which can introduce repeat bucket entries / https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1485695) it's not helpful when you have bib IDs without holdings.
I am aware that some libraries might prefer loading TCNs over Bib IDs, so offering both options in the pending tab of the bucket interface would be the best of both worlds! |
