Bug Description
In XUL, performing Check In on an item that is not checked out will produce a "x is already checked in" message in red above the grid. This message does not appear in the Web Client. Is this intentional or a bug? Some of our libraries make use of this.

I'm guessing this was an oversight. I thought we already had a bug on this, but I can't find it. Marking this one confirmed.
