Bug Description

Administration -> Local Administration -> Hold Policies

If you sign in as a local system administrator and go into the Hold Policies screen a number of policies will display. If you click on a column header to sort the rows it changes which rows display.

For example, when I open my Hold Policies page I initially have 9 policies displaying. If I click on the Match ID column header I now have 2 policies displaying, one of which wasn't in the original 9. (See the screenshots from our training server.)

Sorting hold policies by column header shouldn't change which rows display, it should just change their order.

I haven't been able to replicate this on the community servers as local administrators aren't able to see hold policies in the Concerto data.

Hi Jennifer, I expect the change in the ids returned is absolutely intentional so that sorting works in a consistent way. If I sort something by a text field (name, say) and it doesn't sort the entire result list by that field I'd assume that sorting is broken and useless. A big problem here is that it appears to be performing the "give me X results to display" aspect of the query separately and before "can I see all of these rows," so you're only left with 2 in the second screenshot when both examples should have 10. Depending on how hold rules are entered and where it's entirely possible there could be whole "pages" that are empty. :(

I believe that's a problem that's been solved before though I'm struggling to remember where.

Hi Jennifer,

What permissions regarding hold policies does your local system administrator have and at what depth are they? I believe the relevant permissions are:

VIEW_HOLD_MATRIX_MATCHPOINT
ADMIN_HOLD_MATRIX_MATCHPOINT
