Bug Description

Whenever I try to convert a particular portion of a vob file (I haven't tried any other file type) using the -s (or --starttime) option with a value of greater than 5, then ffmpeg2theora crashes with the message [mpeg2video @ 0xffc780]mpeg_decode_postinit() failure. It works perfectly fine with any value of five or less, but crashes on anything greater. I have tried it with and without setting the endtime and it makes no difference. Without the -s option, everything works phenomenally and I couldn't be happier with it. I am running Windows 7 64-bit with ffmpeg2theora version 0.26. Thanks!

can you post the full output of ffmpeg2theora before it crashes,
how long is the video, can you provide a link to the vob file.
does it happen for one specific vob files or for any vob file you tried?

The VOB files are direct from a DVD using DVD Decryptor and are about 900MB, so there is no way for me to post them. They are 20-25 minutes episodes. Interestingly, I tried a few VOBs from one DVD and they are causing the problems mentioned above. After you asked me about others, I tried ripping a different series from DVD and they seem to work fine. Very odd. I will try some other series as well.

j^, I tried another episode form the series that is causing me problems and it crashes the same way as the one posted above. I have also tried an episode from a third different series and it works. So, it appears that one particular tv series is causing me problems. Very odd.
