Hi Denis!
This feature is very important for me!
I have a lot of planned transactions that are moving across a month calendar. So there is a necessity to make them included/excluded from amount.

I wonder if this happens if you create an account and mark it "include in total" and then later edit it to not be included. In any case this is a big one for me too!

I don't think this issue applies to Ubuntu, but rather the project.

I find useful to divide the exclusion from totals from exclusion from reports with two different parameters.
For example, I have an account where I manage the money of my band. I don't want this money go into totals (they aren't mine) but i would see it into reports!

Or how else could I do?

I have several accounts divided into groups
- family
- savings
- money owned by my children
- money related to my work
Usually only accounts included into the first group are marked for inclusion into total/reports.

Sometimes I want to see also a report for the other groups. Currently the only way to do this is to uncheck all first group accounts and check all accounts from the other group. It would be nice have some smarter way to do this
- define accounts included into total/reports in one convenient screen
- or even defined group of accounts and select directly a group of accounts for inclusion into total/reports
