Thanks for the bug report, Devil505! And thanks for maintaining desktopcouch in Frugalware, and for your interest in getting dmedia into Frugalware!

So everyone knows, this is a bug occurring in Frugalware (http://frugalware.org/). As far as I know, this bug is not occurring in Ubuntu, but I haven't been testing under Natty yet, so this might exist in Ubuntu after all.

Longterm, I would love see dmedia is any and all Linux distributions. But right now I personally can spare any time to ensure dmedia works well on anything other than Ubuntu & Debian. I'm happy to accept merges/patches, and feel free to educate me about do's and dont's that will make packaging dmedia in various distros easier.

So for now, I'm marking this as "Wishlist". Devil505, if you come up with a solution, let me know! Also, so you have fair warning, dmedia will likely go though some serious refactoring and growing pains still in the next few releases... so it might be worth waiting tell dmedia 0.4 or so (end of February) before getting serious about packaging it for Frugalware.

Thanks again!
