I have a working implementation of what is suggested in the bug description (https://review.openstack.org/#/c/165018/). However after review guys from fuel-python pointed out to me that two processes writing to one log may lead to debugging problems and confusion, so I would opt to simply add assasind log file to be available to choose for display in the dropdown in the UI.
