Bug Description

Dear gcc developers,

I have been maintaining for a while the attached patch on debian. It adds support for armv7-ar big-endian. At the beginning I wasn't confident that the patch was correctly done and actually it didn't work well in the previous version, now I'm confident at least that it works very well. I'd like to stop maintaining and make it part of upstream.

Cheers

This patch is incomplete and not cover all possible variants (CPU with or without float point unit).
Here is better my version. https://pastebin.com/z4AcpbDu

PS: we are still waiting for integration of this functionality almost 6 years!

Hi jdobry,

Unfortunately, we cannot take this patch into GCC until it has been submitted to the gcc-patches list upstream. If you could submit it to <email address hidden>, we're more than happy to review it and help you get it committed to trunk.

Thanks,
Tejas.
